Our newest addition: FBRK. Interior designer!
Let me get right to the proverbial point, my name is Lisa Brandsma, 24 years young and I live in the heart of Leeuwarden. And hooray, I get to call myself Fabryk Design’s new interior designer. I may join the Fabryk Design team since September which I am immensely proud of. Because, there is nothing better than sharing a passion with several people and joining forces, right?
An interior design junkie in the making
My passion for interior design has been there for as long as I can remember. I used to grab my markers and draw after my parents’ house which I would then create a layout for. So it’s fair to say that it was there early on. So after my high school, choosing an advanced education was not so difficult. I went on to study Interior Design. A place where I felt like a fish out of water. ”This is it,” I thought, ”this is what I want to do all my life.” In addition to my collaboration with Fabryk Design, I have my own business the Drömhus, which is good to combine. I have a love for Scandinavian design, something you will always see in my designs with a creative and personal touch to it. I love personal interiors with character.
Individuality, precise work, innovative and a personal touch
Something that appeals to me immensely about Fabryk Design is that it is so distinctive and therefore ironclad. So I immediately knew for sure that I wanted to enter into cooperation and join our forces. Esther and I are on the same page. Both heart for the cause, believing in it 100% and, above all, going for it. I think this is also what makes us so strong. We don’t go for good, we go for the best and all that while also putting quality first. We go for proprietary and not thirteen in a dozen. Should you want something customized? Let us know, because customization is not a problem. No question is too crazy and almost nothing is impossible. We don’t shy away from anything and instead like to think out of the box. The Scandinavian style I love, combined with Fabryk Design’s sturdy industrial furniture match very well. Both in minimalist, rural and tough industrial interiors. Good combination right?
What exactly will I be doing as an interior designer at Fabryk Design?
I am going to make sure that I will translate the client’s wishes into an interior design to the best of my ability. I can do this through a 2D drawing, or a 3D drawing. I always create the 3D designs in sketchup that give a clear picture of a styled home. So you can already ”walk” through your new home while it is not yet implemented. You can’t get a better picture! I already got to make the first designs, so cool to do!
